EDIBLE CHICAGO MAGAZINE SPRING ISSUE 2016

PRESS

I recently was asked to shoot Standard Market’s newest Cheese Cave for the Edible Chicago Magazine Spring Issue 2016.

Edible ChicagoEdible ChicagoStandard Market

Standard Market is so much more than a grocery store. It has three different restaurants including, Standard Grill, Standard Tacos & Margaritas and The Cube, which is their specialty beer and wine bar, which also has their first temperature controlled cheese cave. I frequently shop there for my photo shoots, so it was very exciting to be working with them on this article. They’ve expanded and have stores in Westmont, Naperville and even in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago.

The Cheese Cave

Standard Market’s newest cheese cave is located in Countryside, IL. It’s huge in comparison to the cave in the Cube. The team will be busy stocking the shelves with cedar planks and full wheels of cheese over the next several months. We all had to wear hair nets, face masks, full-body aprons and special boots while exploring the cave. Needless to say, it was one of the most interesting photo shoots I have been on.

The Team

Thank you to Ann Flood from Edible Chicago Magazine, David Rogers, Alyssa Stone and Dan Flavin from Standard Market and Trisha Teckenbrock from 3rd Coast PR for inviting me to shoot this feature.
